Electrical and electronic components manufactured by fine blanking processing (FB).
Precision shearing processed parts that exhibit excellent characteristics for terminal contact surfaces! Suggestions for processing non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum.
Most of the terminals available in the market are made using conventional stamping processes. When metal is punched using this method, the cut surface becomes jagged, especially when the material is thick. By using fine blanking to punch, it is possible to achieve a smooth cutting surface without secondary processing such as machining, resulting in no fracture surface. The ability to finish the contact surface smoothly contributes to the suppression of fretting corrosion and the stabilization of contact resistance values. Improving surface finish quality through fine blanking reduces the risk of uneven plating density and pinhole formation in the plating process, which is the most critical final step for terminals, thereby helping to prevent contact failures.
